Robert Bellhouse

Background

Robert qualified nineteen years ago having undertaken his degree and initial training in Leeds .  He subsequently became a partner with another practice and ran two of their branches as branch manager before joining Godloves in February of 2008.

Since qualification Robert has had a wide experience in a number of fields of litigation.  His only area of work now relates to family law encompassing all aspects of matrimonial law.  In July of 2006 Robert became a specialist family lawyer Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association) which recognises his particular expertise in resolving private children law and domestic violence issues.  Additionally in December of 2006 he trained as a collaborative lawyer becoming an active member of the local practice group in Leeds and establishing a further group in Castleford and Pontefract.  In addition to his work responsibilities Robert is a committee member of North and West Yorkshire Resolution and is a member of the management communicate for the Harehills and Chapeltown Law Centre.  He is a volunteer advisor at the Chapeltown Citizens Advice Bureau and former volunteer advisor at the Harehills and Chapeltown Law Centre.

Robert seeks to offer his clients a dignified solution to their relationship and children issues with a sympathetic yet practical approach .
